Guests often highlight the convenient location, with St Johns station providing easy access to central London, Greenwich, and Deptford Market. The rooms are generally considered large and clean, featuring modern decor, comfortable beds, and well-stocked refreshment areas, including complimentary snacks and tea/coffee facilities. The family-friendly pub downstairs offers tasty and reasonably priced food. Some guests have noted that the room access can feel a little unconventional due to the hotel's structure above the pub.

clean shower spacious room helpful staff odd structure misplaced shirt hotel setup
the superior double room felt spacious and comfy. shower and bathroom facilities were very clean with complimentary shampoo, conditioner and soap. the staff were friendly and helpful (always smiling!).
the hotel structure felt odd with rooms upstairs and a bar and restaurant below. i thought i lost a t-shirt, but it turned up later (phew!). i expected a bit more from what i'd consider a 'standard' hotel setup.

steep stairs bathroom mold
The location was near St Johns station. That was acceptable.
The stairs to the rooms were steep and very narrow. My room was also quite small. The bathroom had mold, and the window let in too much draft. I was very disappointed.

we found the room super clean, a very good start to our stay. the breakfast items provided in the room added a nice extra touch.. such as the muffins. the location was convenient with a short walk to the train station.
the hotel was structured with rooms upstairs and a bar and restaurant below. it was not quite what i expected as a standard hotel. i felt it lacked some of the typical amenities i associate with hotels.

A romantic getaway

spacious room clean room easy access delicious food
The superior double room felt spacious and impeccably clean. A dedicated side door allowed easy access at any hour, a feature i found very practical. A large fan kept the room cool. I also found muffins, oatmeal, and a sizable water bottle waiting in the room. I enjoyed the option of a cooked breakfast in the pub downstairs. The food tasted delicious and the staff acted wonderfully.
The radiators made the room a bit too warm, even after i turned them off and opened the windows.
Dining
9/10
The downstairs pub provides a hearty and satisfying menu that showcases traditional fare. I also appreciated that the staff delivered professional and attentive service. Fresh ingredients contributed to meals that were both tasty and comforting. This complemented the cozy ambiance of the pub.
Location

I discovered convenient transport links near the hotel, St Johns rail station is very close. Direct service to London Bridge and Cannon Street offered ease of access to key destinations. I found the Overground line to Canary Wharf provides even greater connectivity for exploring.
Service
10/10
The hotel staff provided excellent support. I felt very welcome. The team seemed attentive to details that i had all that i needed. I was impressed by the way they maintained a friendly and efficient approach.
